Sustainably farmed, hand-harvested 40-100 year old vines, French Oak time. Need we say more?
This Garnacha hails from Calatayud in the north-eastern part of Spain, where the vines see the highest elevation in the region, 1000 meters above sea level. The result is lovely: A wine that is full of fruit but not lacking on texture, structure or minerality. Black cherry and raspberry notes with foundational flavors of oak and baking spices on the mouthfeel complemented by tannins that are well-integrated and understated. An incredible value wine and beautiful representation of Spanish Garnacha.

Pairing Suggestion: Think lighter fare with lots of flavor: roasted Chicken with herbs, smoked Salmon with Brown Sugar, etc. And if you really want to stay on-theme, traditional Spanish Paella would be a dream!
