Wine Club Membership Agreement
Hello, Friend! Thank you for your interest in the Sam(the)Somm Wine Club! With this unique club, you can expect to have Sommelier-tasted and endorsed wines, that go hand-in-hand with the current season, delivered right to your door. Now for some small print…
Your shipment of six, hand-selected wines, ships out every 3 months, on the first day of the first month of the new season (March, June, September and December). Exceptions are Sundays and National Holidays; in which case shipments will be sent out the following business day. Your package is shipped through FedEx Ground, unless selected otherwise.
There are three ways to pay for your quarterly shipment: Annually ($360—which saves you $20/year), Quarterly ($95), and Monthly ($32). You can sign up for membership at any time, your first payment will go towards receiving the current season’s shipment of six wines.
For Annual Members: One upfront payment of $360 covers your four annual wine shipments, renewing automatically on a year from the day you originally signed up. If you decide to cancel your subscription at any time, you’ll be reimbursed for the shipments you had not yet received.
For Quarterly Members: Your credit card will be charged at the time you sign up for your subscription the amount of your first payment and you will promptly receive that current season’s wines thereafter. However, your card will then be charged again exactly three months from your sign up date. Because your card is not scheduled to pay on the first day of the month, every three months, should you choose to cancel your subscription after you’ve received a shipment of wines but not yet had your credit card charged, you will be invoiced for the amount owed for the wines sent. To avoid being sent an invoice for any outstanding charges, please cancel your account prior to your seasonal shipment being sent. By Subscribing, you agree to pay outstanding charges such as this should they arise.
For Monthly Members: Your credit card will be charged your first payment of $32 when you sign up for your subscription and you will receive the current season’s wines in the mail promptly thereafter. However, should you choose to subscribe on any other day than the first of the first month of a new season (i.e. December 1st—first day of the Winter season), your card will continue to be charged on the date you signed up, exactly one month apart, and will be “out of sync” with your shipments. This is completely acceptable, however, should you decide to cancel your subscription after you’ve received a shipment of wines, you will be invoiced for the amount owed for the wines sent. By Subscribing, you agree to pay outstanding charges such as this should they arise.
Unfortunately, there’s always a chance of your wine arriving damaged in some way due to shipping conditions. If your wine arrives physically damaged, a photo for evidence will be required, please send emailed photo to email@example.com. After damage is verified, you will be sent a replacement bottle of equal or lesser value. Of course, we will always try and send you the same bottle(s) you had that were damaged, however, due to inventory constraints, this may not always be possible.
WHAT’S COMING IN THE UPCOMING SEASON’S SHIPMENT
With each shipment, Members will receive an email with a link to a web page at www.samsomm.com that explains what wines you can expect to receive in your upcoming shipment. Should you need to purchase additional bottles of any of the wines, this is also the page you can do so. Please see below Q & A.
HOW TO PURCHASE MORE BOTTLES OF WHAT CAME IN YOUR SHIPMENT
With each shipment, Members will receive an email with a link to a web page at www.samsomm.com that offers you the chance to purchase additional bottles from the season’s case at a reduced cost (as a perk of being a Member). However, you can always send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org requesting a purchase of additional bottles, especially if you desire to purchase a case or more.
